Paddock to Plate was founded by Stephen Thompson in 2010, a local butcher with experience in home butchery since his teen years, strong roots in Tamworth and a genuine commitment to supplying fresh, high-quality meat to our community. Since then, we have built our business into one of Tamworth's leading meat and poultry suppliers on the belief that good meat starts with care, honesty and doing things properly from start to finish — hence our name. Everything we offer is prepared in-house, from everyday cuts and gourmet sausages to custom meat packs and handmade small goods, with a focus on locally sourced meat, preservative-free products and practical solutions that suit real households and businesses.

Beyond our shop front, we also travel to service residents and commercial clients across the region. On Tuesdays and Fridays, we visit Quirindi, Werris Creek, Wallabadah and Currabubula, and on Thursdays we travel to Werris Creek, Murrundi, Quirindi and Wallabadah. This flexibility allows us to support regional customers who value quality and convenience.
